Your weight is seriously the least interesting thing about you.
My name is Meagan Gunnip, and I’m a graduate student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling, devoted diet culture hater and pizza lover. I’m recovered from an eating disorder, and the amazing treatment and support I got in my teens inspired me to become an eating disorders therapist.
I believe in full recovery, and I believe that everyone is capable of self-compassion. I work with people to help them understand their pain, cultivate compassion, and heal their wounds in the way that makes sense to them. I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support others in their growth.
Graduate clinical intern at MEDA.
